Life Events:

We congratulated Bob Maldegen on 61 years in Rotary

Dave Thomas Presented the Rotary Distinguished Service Certificate to Chris Etienne for her dedication to our club and also as our Club’s Foundation Chairperson

Song of the Week:  Steve Cross and Howard Richards were back and with a nod of appreciation to Jim Beno for filling in last week, they led us in "Proud Mary" and Smile

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Rotary Officer Exchange:  Jim Beno let us know that Officers Exchange will be June 29th at the Perry. Sign up will be available soon

Public Safety Open House:  Matt Breed let us know about the Public Safety Open House this Saturday. Lots of things to see and do plus hot dogs fresh off the grill

Ansel Adams Exhibit:  Liz Ahrens reminded us that the Ansel Adams exhibit starts June 1st and runs through September. This is a free exhibit so be sure to get down and enjoy this amazing display

Rotary Appreciation:  Kent Cartwright read a number of thank you notes sent to the club

Bylaws Change:  We passed the proposed by law change to the Parks fund, moving the date that the yearly available funds total is figured from June to December 31st each year

Change of Venue:  We will be moving back to the Bay View in on June 14th. Be sure to make that change in your schedule

Program:

Our own Mike Spencer, Director at Bay View gave us and interesting overview of what Bay View is and does in and around our community. Be sure to look at all the programs that are available and take advantage of them. Link
