Life Events/Requests:  Our fellow Rotarian, Ernie Mainland, is experiencing health issues. He is required to spend three days a week in dialysis. Words of encouragement can be sent to him at 810 Harbor Watch Dr. #64 Petoskey, MI 49770

Calendar Winners:  Dianne Litzenburger, Past President 2007-2008, announced this week’s calendar winners. Dianne accomplished many things during her presidency but what she is most proud of is the Presidential Major Project. If you have never visited the overlook deck on the bluff looking northward across Little Traverse Bay, please do so. So now if you stop there to park your bike on the bike rack, relax on one of the picnic tables and take in the view, make sure you notice the plaque indicating the financial support of our club for something that will be there for generations to come. Dianne stated: “That’s what Rotary is all about to me. It’s our legacy…what we leave behind in our community, our District, and in our World…it’s how "Rotary Shares”.

Habitat works in partnership with people to build decent affordable housing. The houses then are sold to those in need at low or no-interest mortgages with affordable mortgage payments based on the family’s ability to repay.
