Athena Nominations:  The Athena Committee is seeking nominations for women who excel in business and who are seen as role models for younger women. Nomination forms can be found on the Chamber website and are due November 15th

Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash Concert:  Concert at the Petoskey Middle School Auditorium, Saturday, November 4th at 7:30

Enhancement Millage:  Dr. Scholten distributed literature on the upcoming ballet proposal. Since 2008-2009, State funding has not kept up with inflation, please get out to vote

Last Thursday:  It is back! November 30th at 5:00 - 5:30ish at the Noggin Room

Marine Corps Birthday Party:  Dave let us know that the Marine Corps birthday party will be on November 10th. Come see the new Commandant, we may know him, installed. See Dave if you are interested in attending

Calendar Sales:  Jeff Bodette let us know that we can turn in calendar cards and money any time

PROGRAM:

Liz Ahrens introduced Megan DeWindt, Program Director Crooked Tree Arts Center School of Music and Kevin Richardson, Music Education Director.  The speakers reviewed all the current offerings, which are substantial. There is the Crooked Tree Strings and Youth Orchestra Program, Concert Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, Adult Strings and brand new, The Crooked Tree Ukulele Program for all ages and abilities.  The Winter /Spring Session is January 15-May 18th and all classes are held in the CTAC music Studio.
