Today were club elections

Howard Richards led us in “God Bless America”     

Four Way Test:  Nick White

Invocation:  Stuart Fenton with a little music as usual

Visiting Rotarians:  Elizabeth Newton; Wannabe Honorary Rotarian

Visitors:  Ben Slocum, Kam Culbertson, Judy Zorn, Kevin VanHagen, Nick Liebler, Janice Smith and Jessica Smith

Sing Song:  Steve Cross and Howard Richards led us in Jane Millar’s favorite Christmas Song “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” and “Smile”

Life Events:

Thoughts & Prayers List:  Bill Collins gave us an update on BJ Shawn. She is home and doing better. Still on liquids and feeding tube but improving and thinking about our club as she always does. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers

Bill Collin’s daughter had successful surgery yesterday. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers

Anniversaries:  Dick McMurray has 10 years in the club and Steve Cross has 6

Birthdays:  Reg Smith and Dibby Smith have birthdays this week

Announcements:

Christmas Events:  Liz Ahrens let us know that there are many Christmas programs in our city in the next couple of weeks so get out and enjoy one or all of them

Toys for Tots:  Bill Collins filling in for Dave let us know that Toys for Tots is going on for a couple more weeks.

Calendar Sales:  Diane Litzenburger let us know that we have 911 calendars turned in to date. Continue selling as this is the money we expend on the many great programs we support

Wreaths Across America:  Wreaths Across America is December 16th starting at 11:50 in Greenwood Cemetery. Anyone from our Club that would like to can meet at JW Fillmore’s at 10:15 for breakfast prior to the ceremony

Salvation Army Bell Ringing:  Jeff Wynder let us know that there are still spots available for Bell Ringing on the 22nd. Be sure you are singed up

Program Suggestions:  Christian Smith is looking for programs on the 27th so if you have any ideas contact him. Also we are having Santa on the 20th. If you are bringing someone to see him let Christian know as well

PROGRAM:

Christian introduced Jill O’Neill and Maris Harrington for the Great Lakes Center for the Arts. Jill gave us an update on construction and the upcoming season. This will be a great addition to our community. For further information about this phenomenal venue you can visit their website: here
