Announcements:
Roadside Cleanup: Jeff Bodette, acting for Tim Kaufman, let us know that Roadside Cleanup has been re-scheduled for May 19th. We will meet at the Walloon Lake Marina service center on 131 S. at 9:00 am
Ride for Polio: Polio Ride June 16th
Jump for Polio: June 3rd Bill Collins will be joining this group to jump out of a perfectly good airplane
Raise the Roof for Habitat for Humanity: Stuart Fenton let us know about the Raise the Roof fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity. See him for tickets and details
Char/Em Vocational Millage Renewal: John Scholten thanked us for all our support on getting the Char-Em millage renewal passed
Bay View Summer Program: Anne McDevitt let us know that the Bay View summer program books were out and she and Mike would make sure we all got one so that we do not miss any of the great programs offered at Bay View this summer
Marathon Aide Station: Jeff Wynder let us know they are still looking for help at the Marathon Aide station on May 26th. See Jeff for details
Diamonds & Denim: Reg Smith let us know there would be a Diamonds & Denim meeting tonight at 5:00 pm
Strive Banquet: Kassia Perpich gave us a quick update on the Strive Banquet held on the 8th at the Bay View Inn. Thank you to Stafford’s for hosting and sponsoring this event. We will have the scholarship winners at a meeting in a couple of weeks
PROGRAM:
It was a great day for the club as Dianne presented over $47,000 in grants to many deserving local groups. Therefore, we do the fund raising we do, to support our community
