Petoskey Rotary Noon Club NEWSLETTER

August 1, 2018

Howard Richards led us in God Bless America

Four Way Test:  Del Andrews, past member visiting with his brother

Invocation:  Tim Dykstra

Augustine "Og" Mandino II (December 12, 1923 – September 3, 1996[1]) was an American author. He wrote the bestselling book The Greatest Salesman in the World. His books have sold over 50 million copies and have been translated into over twenty-five different languages.  He offers us the following suggestion:

“Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight.  Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward.  Your life will never be the same again.”

With that in mind let’s enjoy our lunches, as we each remember our shared motto Rotary of Service above Self.

Howard Richards had the day off from singing as we enjoyed a duet from Bay View and their accompaniment from the play; The Marriage of Figaro

Austin Martin, Audrey Ballish and Mackenzie Marr did an outstanding job and they are pictured on our Facebook page
