Calendar Winners:  President Steve Cross called on Past President Doug Caldwell to read the calendar winners for the week: Link

Visiting Rotarians:  Getting cooler out so our Visiting Rotarian numbers are down.  None today

Announcements:

Billy/Duff Outing:  Jim Beno let us know that there will be a fall Billy/Duff gathering on October 4th. Bring a dish to pass, beverages and ham provided. $10 for members, $8 for spouses and $5 for kids

Pedal for Polio:  John Emley, standing in for John Scholten, with his hand out again, Pedal for Polio is scheduled for October 6th. There will be many of us riding and looking for sponsorships. They will be leaving from behind D & W at 11:00 am and riding to Knot Just a Bar and back. In case of rain a rain date will be scheduled

Pet Waste Stations:  Jeff Wynder needs some help installing 4 pet waste stations.  See him to find out where and when

Great Lakes Center for the Arts:  Jane Millar has 5 tickets for the George Mitchell talk at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts this Sunday. Contact her if you are interested in attending

Roadside Cleanup:  Tim gave us a recap of Roadside clean up. There were 9 Rotarians and they picked up 18 bags of trash. We did find a Name sign from Joe Blachy. Figured he needed it back

Northern Community Mediation:  Stuart let us know about Dinner and a Movie for Northern Community Mediation in Charlevoix on October 15th. See Jane or Stuart for tickets

Rotary Basics Class:  If you are interested in attending the Rotary Basics Class see Governor Elect Dave for information

Rotary Club of Petoskey Board Meeting:  There is a board meeting next Tuesday, October 9 at 12 in the board Room of the Perry. Everyone is welcome

PROGRAM:

Melissa introduced Tonya Fegan and Todd Ackerman from the Residences at Harbor Watch. They gave us an overview of the programs and services offered there. Todd also gave us some good pointers on how to shovel
