Calendar Winners:  President Steve called on Nikki and Ryan to read calendar winners this week

Visiting Rotarians:  Getting cooler out so our Visiting Rotarian numbers are down.  None today

Visitors:  Elizabeth Newton, Lynn Van Etten, Sophie Cranney, Evie Winslow and Ryan LaDeur

Life Events:

Paul Harris Fellow Award:  Liz Ahrens introduced John Van Etten who presented a Paul Harris Fellow Award to his wife Lynn

New Member Induction:  Jane Millar and sponsor Bill Collins introduced our newest member Shawn Stressman

Birthdays:  Many of which were missed by the President (Steve lost control of this meeting at 11:45 ha ha)

Liz Ahrens, Randy Evans, Paul Schemanski and Rotary Club of Petoskey (97 years young)

Announcements:

Toys for Tots Update:  Dave Thomas let us know that there is still time to bring your Toys for Tots donation. New unopened toy for ages 5-15. They will also accept cash donations

Turkey Trot:  Christian Smith (AKA: Turkey Man) let us know that there will be a turkey trot tomorrow starting at 9 am (weather said 7 degrees) and it will be fun

Spaghetti Dinner Update:  Mike Snyder let us know that the spaghetti dinner will be February 21st.

President Update:  President Steve Cross let us all know that Matt Breed is doing well after back surgery and that Steve Neal passed this last weekend and his visitation and funeral will be Sunday at Genesis Church 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

PROGRAM:

Melissa then introduced Matt Killman from the Walloon Lake Winery who gave us an interesting program on the impact of the wine industry in Northern Michigan
