Andre Strydom led us in “God Bless America”

Four Way Test:  Steve Brummeler

Invocation:  B.J. Shawn

Seasons

They change, we change.

Nothing lasts…how sad, how nice!

Survivors re-group…we must.

Beginnings can offer hope, yet… so can endings.

Endings can bring pain yet offer relief, freedom, chances, peace.

Beginnings stir fear…or courage, create hardship and loss or opportunity and gain.

Beginnings bring warmth and brightness or chills and gloom,

Endings can promise crisp air, vivid color, delicious aromas, and playfulness.

Celebrate change or there can be no next chapter.

Remind each other that raw pain will dull over time.

Go hand in hand toward new beginnings

Stand side by side as the endings seem endless.

Help each other regroup for another chance.

The beauty is……… there’s always another season.

B.J. Shawn

So, I went back and reviewed my archives and do have to say since Steve Cross took the reins as President, we have had fewer announcements in general and more meetings with no announcements.
