Announcements:

Calendar Sales:  Total amount of calendar sales are 3,461 which also includes wholesale calendar sales. Our club alone sold 1,875 of these calendars. This nets the club $51,915 after expenses have been taken out. A fabulous year for calendar sales. Good job all!

Roadside Cleanup:  Tim Kaufman sent around a signup sheet for May 11 beginning at 9:00 at Walloon Lake Marina center on US 131

Diamonds & Denim 2019:  Reg Smith let us know that it is time to get rolling with Diamonds and Denim. There will be an initial meeting on April 17 after Rotary. If you are interested come to the meeting or let Reg know. Our partner this year is YMCA

District Conference:  The District Conference is in Soo Ontario this year, May 2 – 4. We will also be installing the new District Governor, our very own Dave Thomas

Paul Harris Opportunity:  For a limited time only, April 1, 2019 thru May 15, 2019 on a first come first serve basis, Rotary International District 6290 is offering to match a gift of $500.00 to the Rotary Foundation's Annual Fund, with 500 recognition points to name a Paul Harris Fellow. ( Note, the entire $500.00 contribution must be made within the program date. (Earlier partial donation cannot be counted towards this match program.)

Program:  The program today was presented by Judy Zorn, Stuart Fenton and Sally Page called Violins of Hope which consists of restored violins from the holocaust. Stuart Fenton played one of the violins in a very moving presentation
