Song of the Week: Lorraine Manary and Joe Blachy had birthdays so, we sang Happy Birthday to them. The illustrious Steve Cross and Howard Richards had a little communication issue so we sang; “Take Me out to the Ball Game” and “Smile”
Bill Collins auctioned off the remaining open bottles of refreshments, left over from Diamonds & Denim so, we raised a little more money
ANNOUNCEMENTS
John Scholten let us know that we will be pedaling for Polio on Sunday the 18th. Meeting behind D&W Market at 1:00 p.m. to ride to; "Knot Just a Bar" and back
Ann McDevitt let us know that Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra is showing a performance of Peter and the Wolf this Saturday at John M. Hall auditorium. Performances are at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Children 18 and under free, when accompanied by adult; $10.00 for the 2:00 p.m. showing and $20.00 for the 7:00 p.m. showing
PROGRAM
Bill Collins introduced Randy Evans for the program today. He gave us great insight into the life of a writer. He told us the important things for a writer were honesty, heart and humor. He also read us some great excerpts from his upcoming book

New Member: This is the first of the two week notification for proposed new member D. Michael Landi former VP Rand Corporation, VP University of New York and Assistant Police Commissioner City of New York. He was voted in to the club through a podium board meeting occurring today
