4 Way Test:  Thank you Dave Thomas

PLEDGE/Anthem:  Pledge of Allegiance

InvocationRandy Evans recited a verse by the former U.S. Senate chaplain

You go nowhere by accident.
Wherever you go,
God is sending you.
Wherever you are,
God has put you there.
God has a purpose
in your being there.
Christ lives in you
and has something
he wants to do
through you where you are.
Believe this and go in the
grace and love and
power of Jesus Christ.
— Rev. Richard Halverson

PROGRAM

President David Thomas provided the program today as one of his last official actions. The Club heard just a few of the many accomplishments of his presidency due to Dave’s outstanding leadership. President Dave and his Board designed a Strategic Planning Process that will be used in years to come. The goals established and completed led to the Club’s attainment of the Governor’s Award, as well as, the Presidential Award (Bronze). These are indeed high and coveted honors. Membership & Service was also a high mark of Dave’s presidency. His emphasis on Fun, Fellowship and Friendship was beautifully documented through photographs in the slide show played during lunch. Dave also provided the Club with education on the ins and outs of the Rotary Foundation. The information gleaned helped the Club in assisting the earthquake victims in Nepal and also allowed more dollars to find their way to the STRIVE Program. The Club learned firsthand that the Rotary Foundation is much more than the Paul Harris Fellowship

President Dave presented his last Semper Fi Award to the Club as a whole

The Club thanked President Dave with a standing ovation
