PROGRAM:  District 6290 Governor, Brianna T. Scott

Brianna T. Scott, born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan, is an accomplished attorney and community leader. After earning her law degree from Wayne State University, where she was active in several legal associations and competitions, she became the first African American Assistant Prosecutor in Muskegon County. In 2005, she founded the first minority-owned law firm in Muskegon County. Her leadership extends beyond her legal practice; in 2014, she became the first person of color to serve as President of the Muskegon Rotary Club. She continues to lead as the Chair of the Club's Diversity & Inclusion Committee and serves on various community boards, including the Boys & Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore. Scott's commitment to service and inclusion is evident in her ongoing work with the Rotary Club and her legal advocacy within the community.

Brianna shared with us three goals of the Rotary action plan, and 3 goals for our club!

Rotary Action Plan:

Host a strategic planning session for the district on November 2, 2024

Develop a strategic plan for membership recruitment and retention

Increase foundation giving

Goals for our club:
Wear your Rotary Pin every day!
