“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”

Help us to understand that no matter what name it is given and in what language it is expressed, that philosophy called the “Golden Rule” is the most true guidepost by which we should mark the trails of our existence here.

If that concept were universally held as a standard, by people of all nations and faiths, there would be no wars, no hunger, and no crimes against one another.

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”

PROGRAM:  Jeff Samyn – Northern Michigan Sports Medicine – Healthspan vs Lifespan

While lifespan refers to the quantity of years you live from life to death, healthspan refers to the quality of life during those years.
If you don't stay active, you're going to find it increasingly difficult to do the things you like to do — golf, play tennis, lift up your grandkids, take care of your home and garden, and even your ability to live in your own home safely.
Jeff encourages you to think of it as investing in your "401K for your body." Start early, and invest often. What you do will manifest in 5 - 10 years.

The best kind of exercise is the kind you will do, like, and stick with; weights; balance & mobility; and cardio.

Next Week’s Program:  David Miles – Earl Young and his Charlevoix houses
