Toys for Tots:  Let’s make this holiday season magical for kids in need! Join us in spreading joy by donating to Toys for Tots. Whether it’s a stuffed animal, a set of blocks, or that perfect action figure, your gift can light up a child’s face this year.  You can participate by bringing a new, unwrapped toy to our next Rotary meeting and drop it in the Toys for Tots bin at the Perry Hotel. See Dave Thomas for more info.
Santa’s Secret:  Secret Santa is coming soon! A sign-up will be circulated soon to participate.

PROGRAM:  Kyle Bagnall, Mackinac’s Forgotten Features (Historic Parks)

Kyle Bagnall, a park naturalist from Mackinac Historic State Parks, shared a fascinating glimpse into Mackinac Island's hidden landmarks and natural wonders that often go unnoticed. His presentation highlighted unique formations, including the towering Chimney Rock, the mystical Fairy Arch, Skull Rock with its eerie shape, and the monumental Sugar Loaf Rock. Each site, shaped by centuries of geological forces, has its own history and cultural stories, reminding visitors of the island's rich and often overlooked or hidden natural heritage. Bagnall’s talk offered a new perspective on Mackinac, urging all to appreciate its lesser-known but equally captivating features and the historical figures who "discovered" them.

Next Week’s Program:  Art Tebo (Counter Espionage during the Vietnam War)
